Goblet of Fire film's director

Mike Newell has agreed to direct Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the fourth film. Newell is known for directing such critical and popular successes as Four Weddings and A Funeral, Enchanted April and Donnie Brasco. Production on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is scheduled to begin in England in April, 2004.

I agree with Gryffindor why should it be directed by an American director, when an english author wrote it, lets bring it back!

I can't wait until the fourth film is out!! Well, the third film too. Will they cut loads out of it though? Coz its rather long!

I seen the trealer" so not giving the new guy a hard time because thats hard. being the new guy. and i wish him the best of luck in his carrer but i wish he wold get out. i dont now. maby it wont be so bad. well have a great day!
